Description
These screens have been collected from the Yunnan province in Southwestern China. Screens have been known to grace the rooms of wealthy Chinese since ancient times - they were used to section off a portion of a room to provide additional privacy such as for dining or greeting guests. They are not only functional but works of art too and are pieces of Chinese history, making wonderful collectibles. This particular design is circa 120 years old.
